“Be the change that you want to see in the world” Gandhi

“Be the change that you want to see in the world.” We want to help make struggling peoples lives easier. All over Africa people are struggling to do everyday things such as getting water, finding or buying food and having a proper learning environment. We would like to change that!

We would like to collect school supplies, food, toiletries and drinks to help Africans in need. We want to have many people participate in this drive and collect and donate items to be sent to Uganda through Don Scott, a Saint Lukes Hospital (Boise, ID) employee who goes to Uganda frequently for a medical program. We would like to be the change by giving African children an adequate learning environment and proper supplies for school and give food to starving Africans in need. We have created a Facebook page about our goal, anyone can join who wants to help (link is on the home page). This is a big deal and we want to be the change by helping Africa.

By June Logan, Kiana and Sam would like to have raised many supplies and $500. We would like to get the Idaho community involved in our project as well as the rest of the country through our website, twitter and Facebook page. This is something we feel passionate about and this is how “We want to be the change that we want to see”!
